Avenged Sevenfold have released a video for their song Nightmares. The premise is M. Shadows is tied to a gurney and wheeled through a mental hospital encountering "nightmares" in the rooms he passes. Nightmares like "a guy dancing with a skeleton," "tarantulas, (not the Smashing Pumpkins song — though equally nightmarish)" and "girls playing with a bloody kick ball."

I see that shit everyday, that isn't a nightmare. They should have Chad Kroeger look a likes in every room playing for millions of entranced mouth breathers. Fuck that is happening tonight in Nashville.

The homage to their dead drummer was nice and symbolic, but a bit forced. Nightmares is off their upcoming album Nightmare and hits stores next Tuesday (July 27). But since you are a loyal reader here is the iTunes preorder link.
