It is fun to go back and see what celebrities look like when they were in high school. Just like it is fun to go back and relive those glory days....or days of crushing depression and alienation. Depends on what high school clique you belonged. Being an introverted writer, you can figure out quickly where I was in high school.

Houston Press posted an article with famous musicians and what they looked like in high school. They contained the usual hilarity, M&M with a mullet, Jamie Foxx with jerry curls, but this picture made me gasp. It was Steven Tyler.


He doesn't look much different than now except he has fewer wrinkles. I guess seeing him looking like a member of The Kinks was shocking enough. Check out the Houston Press blog posting for Henry Rollins, Iggy Pop, Bruce Springsteen, etc. It wasn't a bad collection.
