Pantera Announce Greatest Hits Collection
You know what this world needs? A Walmart sold Pantera Greatest Hits Collection. Thankfully, we are going to get just that.
A new Pantera greatest-hits collection will be made available on March 30, titled "1990-2000: A Decade Of Domination", via Rhino exclusively at Walmart stores. The songs have been remastered and are "unedited" for this release.
"1990-2000: A Decade Of Domination" track listing:
01. Cowboys From Hell
02. Psycho Holiday
03. Cemetery Gates
04. Mouth For War
05. Walk
06. This Love
07. 5 Minutes Alone
08. I'm Broken
09. Drag The Waters
10. Revolution Is My Name
Greatest Hits collections are money for record companies. It takes little to produce them and it is all profit. Usually the greatest hits package adds something you haven't heard before....new track, new song, etc. But this one just provides you with "unedited and remastered." You know where else you can find unedited versions of these songs? The original albums.
Rather than buying Pantera's singles and most recognizable hits. How about you head to another store, not Walmart, and buy Cowboys from Hell, A Vulgar Display of Power, or Far Beyond Driven. You might find a song on there BETTER than the ones listed here. Doubtful, because 5 Minutes Alone is pretty kick ass, but the albums are all great.
