I want to introduce you to American Bang. They are a band from Nashville, who have a great southern rock sound. Their debut record is produced by Bob Rock, but don't hold that against them. Their talent shines through his over production.

They are going to release their debut album in the Spring through Reprise Records. Until then, you have to listen to the single Whiskey Walk (listen here). It has a big guitar riff to start out the song. They have a good Silvertide vibe about them. Of course, Silvertide has a Black Crowes vibe about them. So perhaps I should say Whiskey Walk has a Black Crowes vibe.

The second song on their MySpace, is not that great. It sounds more like Kings Of Leon. But that song may or may not make the record.

I expect big things from these guys and think you should check them out.
