Them Crooked Vultures on Saturday Night Live
Warning PRESS RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT copied verbatim:
THEM CROOKED VULTURES — which consists of Dave Grohl (FOO FIGHTERS, NIRVANA, THEM CROOKED VULTURES) on drums, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE singer/guitarist Josh Homme and LED ZEPPELIN bass player John Paul Jones — is set to rock the soundstage of another iconic institution, "Saturday Night Live". The band will take the stage live in front of the raucous "SNL" crowd on February 6, with the show being hosted by Ashton Kutcher. Following its stint on late-night television, THEM CROOKED VULTURES will bring the rock to a handful of cities along the East Coast before heading to the desert to play Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival on April 16.
Now we can decode it. The SNL audience is not raucous. SNL used to be funny, but has since turned into one or two good sketches and the rest are shit. They waste the talent they have and the guest stars they pull in. The James Franco Christmas show had the potential to rank up there with the Timberlake Christmas special. That never materialized.
I will just wait for the press release showing the video of the performance and post it here so you can enjoy it without sitting through an hour and half of shit.
