The End of the Decade Crap Lists
It isn't that I expected anything less from Rolling Stone, a magazine set more on pop culture or political commentary than actual music. The list they released though, they weren't even trying to hide their smugness. Here are the top ten songs of the past decade, according to Rolling Stone:
6 | The White Stripes — "Seven Nation Army"
10 | Eminem — "Stan"
I suppose Rolling Stone has trouble discerning anything with a drum or rock guitar after all these years of sucking cock. Ok, you might be thinking, "well Craig, you didn't give us the entire list. You are just choosing stuff to make your point." Well, shit licker, here is the next 13 songs.14 | Missy Elliott — "Get Ur Freak On"
15 | Johnny Cash — "Hurt"
16 | The Strokes — "Last Nite"
17 | Bob Dylan — "Mississippi"
18 | Kelly Clarkson — "Since U Been Gone"
19 | Kanye West — "Jesus Walks"
20 | Justin Timberlake — "Cry Me a River"
21 | OutKast — "B.O.B."
22 | Amerie — "1 Thing"
23 | Rihanna — "Umbrella"
These are the BEST songs in the past decade and most of them suck harder than a diner waitress going down on Tiger Woods. If the list accomplishes anything, it is that, we need a reassurance of good Rock N' Roll.
This is where we come in, you won't see any bullshit rock on this site unless we are getting paid to review it or lambast it. We are tired of the same old shit being crammed down our throats from old, crotchety suits. They are out of touch with rock n' roll and think Breaking Benjamin or Three Days Grace are good bands. Fuck those posers and the suits they blew to grab that elusive record contract. Check out our Year End Best of Undiscovered Bands for some good, quality music made by hard working bands who understand the blood, sweat, tears required to make good rock music.

dude, rolling stone has never written about breaking benjamin or whatever. you're totally wrong and clearly don't actually read the mag.

I am not actually sure the point you were making.
If it was Rolling Stone has never written about Breaking Benjamin, you are wrong. Here is one article where they "write" about Breaking Benjamin

If it is 'I Don't Actually Read the Magazine,' you might have a valid point. I stopped reading that shitzine when they started putting pop stars like The Jonas Brothers on the cover trying to sell magazines.
