Brandon Flowers Is Talking About Sax

Some music reviewers have criticized The Killers overuse of Bill Clinton's instrument of choice, the sax. The sax is a predominant feature on The Killers Day & Age. We loved the album, in fact, we ranked it number four on our year end Top Albums list. (link) However, most reviewers did not and this has upset Brandon Flowers (vocals).

"People have been ridiculous with the amount of attention paid to the saxophone," he says.

"They’ve been like children about it. It’s such a divisive instrument and it shouldn’t be. We didn’t use it in an abnormal or ugly way, there’s no such thing as a bad instrument. It was nice to add that flavour.”

So stop being children you worthless reviewers and EMBRACE the sax. You know you want to feel the smooth, sexy sound of the sax vibrating your loins on tracks like Losing Touch, Joy Ride, or I Can't Stay.

I think you just can't admit that you love the songs with sax in it unless it is Bruce Springsteen. Well this reviewer isn't ashamed to admit, I love SAX!!!! I can't get enough sax. I love solo sax that leaves me breathless. I also enjoy sax performed in front of a full choir. But the sax I love the best is by candlelight and a light scent of lavender in the air....you know, the romantic sax. The sax you think about at work all day and then come home and explode in delight when you hear Kenny G playing his soprano sax. Man I could talk about sax all day.
