Your Black Friday Video of the Year

I am currently standing in line at Best Buy as I write this on my iPhone. (Eat that Blackberry Storm). This whole day is designed to suck money out of weak willed individuals, like myself, who can't stay away from $200.00 off a blu ray player (even though I already have a PS3).

Well another weak willed individual was Billy Idol. I only mean that in the most loving way possible. In 1990, Billy Idol released Charmed Life, his fourth studio album. But Billy couldn't resist the alluring smell of The Doors L.A. Woman. William Broad (a.k.a. Billy Idol) covered The Doors classic mostly as album filler. The cover isn't bad, though I still prefer the original. Check out the creepy, yet erotic early 90's hair on both Idol and the model. Like totally tubular, dude!

Charmed Life also had this very 1939 Third Reich inspired album cover. Actually, I can't decide if it belongs in Nazi Germany or the Soviet Bloc of Berlin. Either way I find myself with a desire to take up arms in defense of my country and work slavish hours to produce menial crops only to tithe them to the government.
