UPDATE: Led Zeppelin not reuniting according to Robert Plant

For what seems like the one-thousandth time on Blogs N' Roses, our hopes of a Led Zeppelin reunion have once again been smashed to pieces like a ladybug resting on Phil Anselmo's chest.  Robert Plant, playing the role of ultimate Zeppelin reunion cockblocker, recently made a comment on his website dispelling the notion of an official Led Zeppelin reunion.  According to FMQB Plant is just not interested in getting back with his former bandmates.

"It‘s both frustrating and ridiculous for this story to continue to rear its head when all the musicians that surround the story are keen to get on with their individual projects and move forward," Plant said. "I wish Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham nothing but success with any future projects."

I think it is time to just let this one go.  I will now focus all of my attention on a Jefferson Starship/Starship reunion.  I hope they play that song from Mannequin!

I have heard for years that Jimmy Page has a lot of music for solo prodjects and for zeppelin material. Lately he has said there is no new music. As for Robert Plant no matter what he says and no matter what Jimmy Page says, this is what i think. The greatest comeback in history would be the Zeppelin tour with new cd. Robert Plant might be saying no and Jimmy page might be saying no new music but i think there is going to be a new cd and Robert still might surprise the world by joining up and when the time is right ''POW'' the reunion will be off and ready. These are my thought. Even if Plant dosen't join i know that Page and Jones and Jason are working on new material that will still blow away the world of Rock!!!
