According to the always reliable Sun UK the mighty Led Zeppelin may be set for an official reunion for the Summer of 2009.  For years we have heard rumors of a reunion, but normally they fizzle as details become more and more clear.  Typically it is singer Robert Plant that kills his fans hopes and dreams (maybe a little harsh), but we are told this time is different.  According to the SUN:

A source revealed: "The rest of the band had all but given up on Robert joining them, but they were determined to go ahead so had started to seriously explore other avenues.  When Robert realised the band were serious about doing it without him, it made him think long and hard.  He realised he couldn't face the thought of not being involved.  The band were over the moon when he told them the news.  They are now forging ahead with the tour plans and they can't wait to get on the road."

There is no word on whether Jason Bonham is going to step in for his late father on the supposed tour.  We have heard these rumors before and certain Blogs N' Roses writers have decided to stop reporting on them, but we will still take it with a grain of salt....plus, it is a great excuse to use this picture again.
