Chart Position for Nostradamus Released

The chart position of Judas Priest's Nostradamus has been revealed by Billboard. The disc, which sold 42,000 copies, landed at number 11 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Not a bad showing, but Angel of Retribution sold 58,000 copies and landed at 13 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

For a band like Judas Priest selling X number of copies really isn't necessary. They are still going to be metal gods whether they sell 4 copies or 400,000 copies. It is nice that Nostradamus sold that many copies so the band feels good about what they are doing. But hardcore fans will see the band no matter what. For instance, I will be seeing the band on August 6 with Motorhead and Heaven and Hell. Hope you are there.
