Dee Snider

How we know him: David Daniel "Dee" Snider is the lead singer and frontman of the rock band Twisted Sister. His curly blonde locks, his over the top persona, and filed-to-a-point incisors make him a jew force to be reckoned with.

How jewish is he: He just is.

Great Jewish moments in his career: In 1985, a Senate hearing was instigated by the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC), who wanted to introduce a parental warning system that would label all albums containing offensive material. The system they wanted to institute was to include letters identifying the type of objectionable content to be found on each album (O=occult themes, S=sex, D=drugs, V=violence). Dee Snider and few other musicians testified against this censorship and the proposed warning system. The system was never implemented, but the result brought the "Parental Advisory: Explicit Content" label. He also is apparently the half brother of Diamond Dallas Page. (according to Wikipedia)

Diamond David Lee Roth

How we know him: Charismatic, over-the-top, frontman for the 1980's juggernaut band Van Halen. He was cowriter on most of their songs. He has since dabbled in many ventures, paramedic, acting, writing, and DJing.

How Jewish is he: He is the son of Nathan J Roth and Sybil Roth. His grandparents were jewish and immigrate to Indiana from Ukraine. His uncle was Manny Roth who owned an influential New York City nightclub which allowed Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix to play there.

Great Jewish moments in his career: At the 1983 US Festival in California Van Halen were paid 1,00,000 to play one set. They became one of two highest paid bands in modern history. (The other was David Bowie who was the other headlining act for the US Festival). Roth era Van Halen cd's have outsold Hagar's Van Halen almost 3 to 1. There is only one Van Halen and it doesn't contain Sammy Hagar or Gary Cherone.
