This is the first time Weezer has been covered by the site. I have no problem with the band Weezer, just the 'oh I am so misunderstood' attitude and the 'I don't fit in' look of Rivers Cuomo. Yet, he graduated from Harvard, gets to hang out in Hollywood, and is a regular at the Playboy mansion. I am also tired of the fact that to sell a record, Rivers always says it will be the last Weezer record ever. None of what he says, winds up being true. However, I still enjoy the band and they are very good live.

Billboard.com reports that Weezer is "polishing up a batch of songs for a recording session that will start in July." This will be the bands sixth studio album and is the follow up to 2005's Make Believe.

According to a post on the Weezer website, Rivers says,  "This will be the final recording session for our sixth album, which we aim to put out in the first half of 2008.
