As heard the the Kidd Chris Show on Philadelphia's 941Free FM the rap group Loose Cannons, Comprised of former LFO member Rich Nice and Doug Ray aka 'ToothPick' are reviving old-schoolish rap (Blognsnroses.com does not claim to know what old school rap sounds like) in an entertaining way.  According to their myspace page www.myspace.com/loosecannonmusic , "We are huge stars in Japan due to our def rhymes and dynamic stage presence. we are heavily influenced by the golden age of Rap 1984-1996. We write rhymes about real issues like plus size women and fake boobs. We dub our sound Frat Rap and are in the process of getting golden microphones.When not writing rap songs we are in our own personal dojo located in Hyannis Mass. We don't give lessons so don't try to come by there and be our students or something. Its a sweet dojo and we even have a couple vending machines in there." Normally it is assumed that anything with 'frat' in the description is assumed to be homo-erotic and wreaking of std infected anus, unfortunately that assumption is not true for the Loose Cannons.

Their sweet rhymes can be purchased on itunes and a few tracks are streaming on the myspace page.  Highly recommended is their new hit, Jihad On Me. Enjoy kids, fore there are close to zero entertaining rap artists.
