While recent autobiographies have gotten more attention, David Lee Roth's Crazy From The Heat is still ranked in the Oprah Book Club of sleaze. Crazy From the Heat may not be as graphic as The Dirt (read:soiled in human waste and ejaculate) but it makes up ground in the narration department. Roth should have penned his memoir under "The Greatest and Sleaziest Sage This Side of The Iron Curtain," because that is how David Lee Roth is translated in several African dialects. Roth's greatest strength as a writer lies not in what he says, but how he says it. If you have had the pleasure of observing this man on stage, you know what I'm talking about. If you still think Van Halen sounded better with Sammy Hagar...go fuck yourself!
