Stepping out of his brother's shadow
Spider One, frontman for the band Powerman 5000, will be creating his own horror movie. As many of you know, Spider One is the younger brother of Rob Zombie.Fangoria.com visited the site of the horror movie, which was described as:
On the abandoned second story of a particularly decrepit building just off 3rd and Main, this writer [Sean Decker of Fangoria Magazine] dodged rats and the grim detritus of squatters (including used hypodermic needles, giving the set an all-too-realistic flair) while speaking with the director. I say more power to you Spider One. Break out of that mold your older, more talented, brother has cast. You wouldn't want to do the same thing as he does so you can avoid the comparisons, right?
Not only is a copying his brother, but Dread Central is reporting that his project seems like a rip-off/combination of two other indie films. One is called "WHEN ZOMBIES ATTACK!" and IS COPS, but they fight Zombies. The Other is called "DEATH WALKS THE STREETS." http://www.dreadcentral.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1447
